Public and Community Art Project 2018-2023

From 2018 -2023, Ali Mirsky served as the Director of Community Service and Public Art at Art with a Heart. Duffy became Ali’s assistant from 2022-2023, working to create significant sculptural pieces for the organization. During Ali’s five year tenure she designed, led and installed a significant amount of mosaics in and around Baltimore, working to elevate the art work and to build community through the organization. In 2023, Ali and her entire team left AWAH to pursue a path that aligned more with their shared values and vision for what community art can be. The following is a small sample of some of hundreds of pieces Ali, her team and the AWAH volunteers helped to create.
