  • Hello!

I am Lingyan, an illustrator and designer based in Baltimore. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in illustration. I specialize in crafting joyful images and heartfelt stories, particularly for children’s books. Besides illustration, I enjoy doing clay crafts, mosaic art, and participating in community art projects.

  • Hi there!

My name is Chelsea and I am an animation major senior at Maryland Institute College of Arts. I originally started animating traditionally but now I lean more to 2D animation. My main interests in that field is storyboarding, rough animation and, sound design.

My inspirations when it comes to anything I create is fantasy storytelling whether it is from shows I watched or an idea that came to me. I honestly hope to one day create one of those ideas into a comic one day or a short film.

Other than that, I enjoy rollerskating, baking sweets, going to Ren Faire and concerts

  • Hey there, I'm Shubo from China, currently rocking my senior year at Maryland Institute

College of Art, majoring in illustration. While I love drawing digitally, I've also found a passion for mosaics and clay lately. And right now in my personal time I'm knee-deep in my final thesis, a children's book story drawn in ink and pen!

I believe that good art can tell a wonderful story. And likewise community art is all about telling our own stories. I love and want to see people connect with themselves andothers as they engage in community art.
